Former President Trump spoke at the meeting of the Association of Black Journalists and questioned Kamala Harris’s identity, Black or Indian. You could hear the audience groan as he spoke, it was not the nicest thing he could say to attract the black audience’s vote. His response to the panel of journalists asking him questions was not meant for that audience but to his base. It was similar to the birther argument he raised on Obama. Here the point was that Ms Harris chose the identity that will bring her the most votes; Trump is using her possible waffling as an insult. Four years ago, as a vice-presidential candidate, she called herself Indian (not Native American) and now she is Black. What’s wrong with that?
For anyone keeping up with this site, you’ve probably noticed that I have used the same bottle of bourbon for two months in a row: Oak & Eden and now Evan Williams. The reason is that I am trying to reduce the amount of bourbon I imbibe each month, all in the name of better health. So it may be a new bottle every two months with more information about the brand. Thanks for your understanding.
